About us
Both John and I have dreamed of opening a restaurant since we were kids. We met while studying at Culinary School at Oakland Community College, and from that moment on, our shared passion only grew stronger. We both call Michigan home—John has spent his entire life in Commerce Township—and this community means everything to us. Today, we’re proud to turn that lifelong dream into reality and share it with all of you. Along the way, we’ve also been blessed with our three daughters, who mean the world to us and inspire us every day.
In loving memory of John's beloved grandfather Gordon, who always believed in his grandson's culinary aspirations, this restaurant stands as a tribute to his unwavering support and encouragement. Though Gordon didn't get to see his grandson's dream become reality, his spirit lives on through our name and the warmth we share with every guest who walks through our doors.
